Painted in your company colours and with your logo, the Shire provides a memorable form of advertising and makes a positive connection to your product which will be asociated with the characteristics of quality, style and heritage.
Don’t let the classic looks deceive you because this is in fact, a modern and reliable workhorse. Built on the new 'Iveco Daily' chassis, it has a galvanised steel sub frame and the latest Iveco ‘Euro 4’ engine.
The main body captures the classic lines of a vintage vehicle, yet built from fibreglass and therefore it will never rust.
The ‘artillery’ wheels are custom made for Asquith, and when painted to match one of the chosen body colours, this really sets off the look of the Shire and turns it into something extra special.
Other features include the traditional style radiator and vintage headlights, which all add to the nostalgia and charm that make this a unique vehicle.
Underneath each vehicle is 21st century technology, enabling high levels of reliability and comfort.
The standard chassis used is the Iveco Daily 35S12 with the latest Euro IV engine
The sturdy “C” section frame is made from high tensile strength riveted sheet steel. At the rear, the rigid torsion beam allows maximum sturdiness.
Iveco’s engine is equipped with direct Common-Rail injection turbo intercooler diesel engine with 116 HP to combine versatility, brilliant power and low fuel consumption. A 136HP version is also possible for vehicles with higher requirements.
Independent front suspension and power steering ensures easy handling, extraordinary agility and a tight turning circle which will be much appreciated in urban areas, heavy traffic areas and narrow spaces.
There are disc brakes all round with ventilated front discs and ABS & EBD
The Shire has similar load capacity to other modern 3.5 ton vans and with its twin rear doors, it is easy to load into the generous space between the wheel arches.
The driver's seat is fully adjustable with an integrated seat belt. Visibility is good.
There are a range of options to enable customers to personalise their vehicle depending on their requirements. These could include tachographs, electric windows, leather seats, bulkheads, airconditioning, a chiller unit and a lot more...
